Before you begin...
Connect
the
Palmcorder
to
a power source.
For extended
Palmcorder
use, it is recom-
mended
to use the AC Adaptor as
a
power
source.
Insert
a
cassette with
record tab (see
page
10).
Set the POWER
switch
to CAMERA.
Aim Palmcorder
at desired area.

In
Record/Pause
mode, hold
down
the
SECURITY
MODE
button for
approximately 2
seconds
to place the
Palmcorder in
Motion Security
Stand-
By mode. (If
no
cassette
tape
is
inserted. "122"
will
fiasli.)

MOTION
SECURITY
Palmcorder will start
recording
approximately
3 seconds after motion is
detected.
If
you
display the
date and time
(see page
15),
the date and time will
also
be
recorded.

MOTION
SECURITY
Recording will
stop 30 seconds after the
motion ceases.

the
SECURITY MODE
button
once
to
cancel the
Motion Security
feature.
Note:
Make sure the
Palmcorder
is firmly
secure.
If
the Palmcorder
is moved,
the Motion
Security
feature
will
start,
regardless of the
subject
being
recorded.
Palmcorder
cannot
be
placed
In
the
MoHoti
Security Stand-By
mode during recording.
Record/Pause, Stand-By
mode, Digital
E.I.S.,
Color Digital
Fade,
One-Touch Auto
Fade
and
Negative/Positive
Transposer can
not
be
activated
while
Palmcorder
is
in
the
Motion
Security Stand-By
mode.
