1) Turn the focus ring to roughly adjust the focus of the projected image. (

2) Change the setting of the [PROJECTOR SETUP] menu

[PROJECTION METHOD] depending on the
installation mode. (

3) Select the input by pressing the input selection button on the remote control or the control panel.

The buttons that can be used on the remote control or the control panel are as follows.
Remote control:
<HDMI 1> button, <HDMI 2> button, <DIGITAL LINK> button, <COMPUTER 1> button, <COMPUTER 2>
button, <VIDEO> button
Control panel:
<INPUT SELECT> button

4) Adjust the front, back and sideway tilt of the projector with the adjustable feet. (

page 50)
5) Adjust the position of the projected image by operating the lens shift lever.
6) If the input signal is the analog RGB signal or the HDMI signal, press the <AUTO SETUP> button.
7) Turn the zoom ring to adjust the size of the projected image to match the screen.
8) Adjust the focus again with the focus ring.
9) Adjust the zoom again with the zoom ring to adjust the size of the projected image to match the
screen.

When the projector is switched on for the rst time after purchase, as well as when the [PROJECTOR SETUP] menu
→
[INITIALIZE]
→
[ALL USER DATA] is executed, the
[INITIAL SETTING]
screen is displayed after projection starts. Refer to “When the initial setting screen is
displayed” (

page 41) for details.

Projection of the image will stop, and the power indicator <ON (G)/STANDBY (R)> on the projector body
lights orange. (The fan keeps running.)
3) Wait for a few seconds until the power indicator <ON (G)/STANDBY (R)> of the projector body lights/
blinks red.
4) Press the <OFF> side of the <MAIN POWER> switch to turn off the power.

For approximately ve seconds after the projector is turned o󰀨, the indicator does not light up even if the power is turned on.
