Making adjustments and selections
It is recommended that images are projected continuously for at least 30 minutes before the focus is adjusted.

1) Roughly adjust the focus of the image with the focus ring. (x page 45)
2) Change the settings of the [PROJECTOR SETUP] menu → [PROJECTION METHOD] depending on the
installation mode. (x page 75)
f Refer to “Navigating through the menu” (x page 52) for the operation of the menu screen.
3) Press the <INPUT> button on the control panel or the input selection (<COMPUTER 1>, <COMPUTER
2>, <HDMI 1/2>, <VIDEO>, <MEMORY VIEWER/NETWORK>) buttons on the remote control to select
the input signal.
f The <COMPUTER 2> button and <MEMORY VIEWER/NETWORK> button are disabled for PT-LB306.
f The <HDMI 1/2> button only functions as HDMI input selection button for PT-LB306.
4) Adjust the projection angle of the projector with the adjustable foot. (x page 45)
5) If the input signal is an analog RGB signal, press the <AUTO SETUP> button.
6) Adjust the size of the image to match the screen with the zoom ring.
7) Adjust the focus again with the focus ring again.
8) Adjust the size of the image to match the screen with the zoom ring again.
Powering o󰀨 the projector

1) Press the power <v/b> button.
f The [POWER OFF] conrmation screen is displayed.
2) Press as to select [OK], and press the <ENTER> button on the remote control or the w button on
the control panel.
(Or press the power <v/b> button again.)
f Projection of the image will stop, and the power indicator <ON(G)/STANDBY(R)> lights in orange. (The fan
keeps running.)
3) Wait until the power indicator <ON(G)/STANDBY(R)> lights or blinks in red.
f The projector enters standby mode when the power indicator <ON(G)/STANDBY(R)> lights or blinks in red.
4) Disconnect the plug of the power cord from the outlet.
Note
f While the power indicator <ON(G)/STANDBY(R)> is lighting in orange, the luminous lamp is being cooled down and the projector cannot be
turned on. Wait until the power indicator <ON(G)/STANDBY(R)> starts lighting or blinking in red to turn on the projector again.
f When packing the projector for transportation and storage, please make sure that each indicator is o󰀨.
f Even if the power is turned o󰀨 by pressing the power <v/b> button, the projector consumes power if the power plug is connected
to the outlet.
When the [PROJECTOR SETUP] menu → [ECO MANAGEMENT] → [STANDBY MODE] is set to [ECO], use of some functions is
restricted, but the power consumption during standby can be conserved.
