11.13.10 REGARDING LOCAL SETTINGS
Local setting method using the remote controller
• The settings can be performed at night with low sound by using the remote controller.
Follow the instructions below regarding installation, service and repair, and perform local setting.
(If there is a mistake with the settings, it will cause abnormal operations.)
• Perform the local settings according to the installation instruction manual provided with the remote controller.

Model setting for cooling via a jumper wire
• The unit designed for cooling can be set by the JP wire on the outdoor unit’s control
board.
[Setting method]
After disconnecting JP1 (COOL ONLY) as shown in diagram 1 while the power
supply has been turned OFF, switch the unit’s power supply back to ON.
By setting it to cooling operation, the heating operation cannot be used.
Once the unit is in cooling operation and in order to return to heating/cooling mode,
turn off the power supply. Disconnect JP1 and switch ON the power supply.
Note: Ensure to turn OFF the power supply before disconnecting JP1. There is a risk
of damaging the P board by disconnecting JP1 while the power supply is
turned ON.
11.13.11 CHECKS AFTER INSTALLATION HAVE COMPLETED
• Check the following items after completing installation.
11.13.12 REGARDING DELIVERY TO THE CUSTOMER
• Request the customer to review the instruction manual and explain the operating method for the product.
• During delivery, not only provide explanation of the operating methods but the serviceperson also writes his/her
name in the comment column (back page of the instruction manual) and gives it to the customer. In addition, it is
also recommended that regular inspection checks are agreed upon for maintenance.
