2 types of screws are necessary for installation as described below.
M5 self-tapping screw (field supply): For installing the flange to the indoor unit
M4 self-tapping screw (recommended): For installing the duct to the flange
First, remove the air filter and all related packing parts. Then, attach the flange to the indoor unit.
To install the flange to the indoor unit, use the M5 self-tapping screws (field supply).
To install the duct to the flange, use the M4 self-tapping screws (recommended).
Necessary number of scews are different according to the types of indoor
units listed at right.
Prior to installation, flange material for air intake duct must have a minimum
thickness of 1.0mm or more.
