The battery indicator
This indicator appears when the unit is on.
≥If rechargeable batteries are to be used, rechargeable batteries manufactured by
Panasonic are recommended.
≥This unit cannot recharge batteries. The battery indicator will not function
correctly when using rechargeable batteries.
≥Fit the battery lid so it is secure and flush with the battery compartment. If it
comes loose, it may scratch your discs.
≥To remove the batteries, lift from the left.

not drained. It appears correctly once you start play.
