19.5 Self-diagnosis Method
19.5.1 Connection Capability Rank Abnormality (H12)
Malfunction Decision Conditions:
During startup operation of cooling and heating, the capability rank of indoor checked by the outdoor is used to
determine connection capability rank abnormality.
Malfunction Caused:
1 Wrong model interconnected.
2 Wrong indoor unit or outdoor unit PCB (main) used.
3 Faulty indoor unit or outdoor unit PCB (main).
Abnormality Judgment:
Continue for 90 seconds.

Has the installation set-up being

Does H12 error occur after a certain period of usage?
Does H12 error occur immediately after installation?
Rectify the model selection.
Has any indoor or outdoor PCB being replaced or
serviced?
Check the spare part number and compare against the
part list.
Does spare part number match with the indoor/outdoor
model?
Has the indoor PCB being replaced anew?
Set the capacity rank at control panel (refer I/I). Has the capacity rank being set at the control panel?
After capacity is set, turn off the breaker and turn on the
power again to operate the unit.
