3. Dead Keys
Used
to
add an acceni symbol
to the character on
the keyboard. Even
when
a dead
key is
pressed,
neither a character appears nor the cursor moves,
When a character key, to which
you
want
to add
an accent symbol, is
pressed,
the accent added
characier
is
displayed.
But when the character key, to which an accent
cannot be added,
is
pressed,
the charac[er
appears without any accent symbol.

Special Character
Input
1. Press the
[POP
UP] Key. Now, a
pop-up
window
appears
with the character frequently used.
Press the
IPOP
UP] Key to cancel the desired function
or e12sc lhe non-rrn
wrndow.
2. A
pop-up
window appears at the upper
part
of
the
screen with the cursor
positioned
at the lower
part
of the screen, or it appears at the lower
part
of the
screen
with
the
cursor
positioned
at the upper
part
of
the screen.
3. While the menus are shown, use the arrow keys

to move
the
highlight bar to
a desired
character.
Then
press
the
[ENTER]
key to display the desired
character where the cursor is oositioned, and the
pop-up
window is
now erased.

1. Press
the Capital Letters Key

the Capital Letier lnput mode
and Small Letter lnput
mode.
Befer to chapter 4-1-(2) when operating the
keyboard
wiih GERMAN or FBENCH specified.
2. lnit;ally, select the small letter input
mode.
3. The height of ihe cursor is reduced in the
Small Letter

Cursor Movement
1. Press the arrow keys

Line
Feed
1. In the overwrite mode,
press
the
[ENTEB]
key to move
the cursor to the head of the next line.
When the cursor is
positioned
on
the
last
line,
press
ihe
[ENTER]
to move the cursor to the head of the last
lrne.
2. In the Insert mode,
press
the
[ENTER]
key to
open a
new line, Now, the sentence after the cursor is inserted
between that
position
and the
next line, and the last
line is deleied.
Execute the above function in
the lasi
line,
to delete
the sentence after the cursor and move the
cursor
to
the head
of
the last line.
3, The character which does not fit within end of the
lowermost line
on the
display,
such characters are
inserted at the head of that line.
