11.6 Adjust the angular field of view using the extra
optical zoom function
Click the [Setup>>] button of “Extra optical zoom” on the [Image quality] tab of the “Image/Audio” page.

It is possible to adjust the angular field of view using the extra optical zoom function.
• : Click this button to adjust the zoom ratio to the “Wide” side.

: Click this button to set the zoom ratio to x1.0.
• : Click this button to adjust the zoom ratio to the “Tele” side.
IMPORTANT
• The extra optical zoom function may not be activated on the appropriate position if the setting for the
function is performed after the settings for the mask areas (®page 93), privacy zone (®page 99),
VMD area (®page 120), VIQS area (®page 101), cropping area (®page 131). To prevent this,
perform the setting for the extra optical zoom function before other settings.
• When using the lens distortion compensation function, if the extra optical zoom function is used, the
lens distortion compensation function is disabled.
