You think the motor is
becoming unusually hot
It may be overloaded or the rotation speed is too low :
check the current and the operating cycle of the motor.
Check if the mounting surface is enough or if this
surface
is not a heat source see §3.6 cooling.
Friction in the machine may be too high :
- Test the motor current with and without a load.
- Check the motor does not have thermal insulation.

Check that there is no friction from the brake when
the brake power is on.
You find that the motor
is too noisy
Several possible explanations :
Unsatisfactory mechanical balancing
There is friction from the brake: mechanical jamming.
Defective coupling
Loosening of several pieces
Poor adjustment of servo drive or position loop : check
rotation in open loop
