Loosen the victim’s tight clothing. If
the victim’s skin is blue or the victim
has stopped breathing, give artificial
respiration (if you know how) and call
for help.
Eye contact:
Hold the eyelids open and immediately
begin flushing with clean water.
Do not use chemicals or drops unless
instructed to by a physician or poison
control centre.
Cover the eye with a clean piece of cloth
and seek medical attention immediately.
Filling the spray tank

WARNING! Risk of accidental
contact of spray materials with
skin and eye.
u Always wear appropriate personal
protection equipment as instructed
by the chemical manufacturer when
using, preparing, handling, spraying, or
disposing of chemicals. This equipment
includes at least goggles, gloves,
respiratory protection and protective
clothing.
u Avoid accidental starting. Ensure the
product is switched off and the battery
pack[] is removed from the product.
u The maximum volume of the spray
tank[3] is 16litres. Do not overfill the
spray tank!
NOTE
u Thoroughly clean and rinse measuring
containers that are used for filling the
spray tank[3] and for pre-mixing spray
materials.
u The basket filter[] prevents debris that
can clog or damage the pump from
entering the spray tank.
u Always reinsert the basket filter before
reinstalling the spray tank cover[8].
NOTE
u Use only with plant protection products
approved by local/national regulatory
authorities for plant protection products
for use with backpack sprayers.
Before filling the spray tank with
spray solution
1. Carry out a test run with fresh water. Check
all parts of the product for leaks.
Filling a clean spray tank
1. Stand the spray tank
[3] on a level surface.
2. Unscrew and remove the spray tank
cover[8]. Check if the basket filter[] is
correctly placed (Fig.E).
3. Carefully pour the spray solution into the
spray tank[3].
4. Do not fill the spray tank[3] above the
maximum mark.
5. After filling, fit the spray tank cover[8].
Tighten the spray tank cover firmly.
NOTE
u Fix a tag on the product to note what
chemical is used.

WARNING!
u Never attempt to fill the spray tank[3]
while carrying it.
Changing the spray material
If any spray material is left in the spray tank
[3]:
1. Unscrew the spray tank cover[8] and
remove the basket filter[].
2. Pour the spray material from the spray
tank[3] into a container approved for
chemicals. Do not store chemicals in the
spray tank for a prolonged period.
3. Use clean water to clean and rinse the
spray tank
[3] and accessories. A small
amount of mild household detergent may
be added.
4. Pour in the new spray material (see“Filling
the tank”).
