In an OPEN conference, all the stations are able to speak at the same
time.
The Chairperson Station, in particular, can join in the Delegates’ discussion
with the ‘Conversation’ function, or may activate the ‘Priority’ function, which
places all the active stations on hold until the key is released.
The system can manage open voting or secret ballots With the PC software
it is also possible to manage a list of participants, to print a report on the
voting sessions and to record the order of contributions, the voting, the
items up for discussion and those voted on in a database. The figure 1.2.1
illustrates the typical configuration of the system.
In conferenza APERTA, tutte le postazioni hanno la possibilità di parola in
contemporanea.
La postazione Presidente, in particolare, può inserirsi nel dibattito in
contemporanea ai Delegati con la funzione ‘Conversation’ oppure attivare
la funzione ‘Priority’, con la quale mette in attesa tutte le postazioni attivate
fino al rilascio della priorità. Il sistema ha la possibilità di gestire le votazioni
in modo palese o segreto; con il software per PC è possibile gestire anche
l’anagrafica dei partecipanti, stampare il report delle votazioni e registrare
su database la cronologia degli interventi, delle votazioni e degli argomenti
di discussione e di voto. Nella figura 1.2.1 è illustrata la configurazione
tipica del sistema.

Le principali caratteristiche tecniche e funzionali del sistema CS2100
possono essere così riassunte:
• Uso delle postazioni Delegato con voto B2100-DG, Presidente B2100-PG
e Segretario*.
• Gestione di un massimo di 2 postazioni Presidente.
• Gestione di un massimo di 98 postazioni Delegato (con e senza voto).
• Numero massimo complessivo di postazioni utilizzabili - comprensivo di
Segretario - pari a 100.
• Connessione dedicata per il collegamento diretto a PC.
• Possibilità di collegare fino ad un massimo di 4 tabelloni CT2001.
• Controlli di livello separati ed indipendenti per il segnale proveniente
dalle unità, per l’ingresso ‘TAPE’ e per l’ingresso ‘MIC/AUX’ IN.
• Doppie prese phono ‘IN’ e ‘OUT’ (10) per la connessione di un
registratore con cui verbalizzare e riascoltare le discussioni.
The main technical and functional specifications of the CS2100 system can
be summarised as follows:
• Use of B2100-DG voting Delegate, B2100-PG Chairman and Secretary
Stations*.
• Management of up to 2 Chairman Stations.
• Management of up to 98 Delegate Stations (with/without voting rights).
• Maximum overall number of stations that can be used – including one
Secretary Station: 100.
• Dedicated connection for a direct link with a PC.
• Possibility of connecting up to a maximum of 4 CT2001 display panels.
• Separate and independent level controls for the signal from the units, for
the ‘TAPE’ input and for the ‘MIC/AUX’ IN input.
• Dual phono ‘IN’ and ‘OUT’ sockets (10) for connecting a tape recorder
for recording and playing back the discussion.
