Biohazard Exception to Warrantee
The number one failure we experience with product, particularly power amplifier product
involves liquids and foreign objects being introduced into the amplifiers.
The customer regardless of the products warrantee status will be billed for any clean up
efforts necessary to restore the product to a condition where it can be evaluated for
repair.
The clean up and subsequent waste disposal will be billed prior to a formal repair
estimate being presented.
The most frequent source of foreign objects in the amplifiers is pet related events.
Pass Laboratories reserves the right to not service any product that appears to have
been damaged by feces, urine, expectorant or saliva.
These foreign objects raise very real concerns of Hanataviruses. Hanatavirus
Pulmonary Syndrome is transferred to humans most frequently through rodent
droppings, saliva and urine residue. The condition is frequently fatal to humans.
