Why is my Patriot Lighting Fan wobbling?

  Fan wobble can occur if the blade and blade arm screws aren't secure. Make sure they are tightened. Also, most wobble issues arise from unequal blade levels. To check this, measure from a point on the center of each blade to the ceiling, ensuring any deviation is within 1/8 inch. If the fan continues to wobble after running for ten minutes, contact Eurofase Customer Service to obtain a balancing kit free of charge.

  If your fan is making noise, there are several things to check: ensure all motor housing screws are snug, and that the screws attaching the fan blade bracket to the motor hub are tight. Also, make sure wire nut connections aren't rattling against each other or the switch housing's interior wall. Allow a 24-hour 'breaking in' period, as most new fan noises disappear during this time. Verify the canopy isn't touching the ceiling and that your outlet box is secure, with rubber isolator pads used between the mounting plate and outlet box.
