10 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

Sunbeam Products, Inc. doing business as Jarden Consumer Solutions or if in Canada, Sunbeam Corporation (Canada)

Limited doing business as Jarden Consumer Solutions (collectively “JCS”) warrants that for a period of ten years from

the date of purchase, this product will be free from defects in material and workmanship. JCS, at its option, will repair

or replace this product or any component of the product found to be defective during the warranty period.

Replacement will be made with a new or remanufactured product or component. If the product is no longer available,

replacement may be made with a similar product of equal or greater value. This is your exclusive warranty. Do NOT

attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical functions on this product. Doing so will void this warranty.

This warranty is valid for the original retail purchaser from the date of initial retail purchase and is not transferable. Keep the

original sales receipt. Proof of purchase is required to obtain warranty performance. JCS dealers, service centers, or retail

stores selling JCS products do not have the right to alter, modify or any way change the terms and conditions of this warranty.

This warranty does not cover normal wear of parts or damage resulting from any of the following: negligent use or

misuse of the product, use on improper voltage or current, use contrary to the operating instructions, disassembly,

repair or alteration by anyone other than JCS or an authorized JCS service center. Further, the warranty does not

cover: Acts of God, such as fire, flood, hurricanes and tornadoes.

What are the limits on JCS’s Liability?

JCS shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages caused by the breach of any express, implied or

statutory warranty or condition.

Except to the extent prohibited by applicable law, any implied warranty or condition of merchantability or fitness for a

particular purpose is limited in duration to the duration of the above warranty.

JCS disclaims all other warranties, conditions or representations, express, implied, statutory or otherwise.

JCS shall not be liable for any damages of any kind resulting from the purchase, use or misuse of, or inability to use

the product including incidental, special, consequential or similar damages or loss of profits, or for any breach of

contract, fundamental or otherwise, or for any claim brought against purchaser by any other party.

Some provinces, states or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages

or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations or exclusion may not apply to you.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from province to province,

state to state or jurisdiction to jurisdiction.

The Patton® Air Circulator is a high-velocity fan designed for household use, capable of circulating air independently or in conjunction with an air conditioning unit to distribute cooled air or force it into other rooms. It can also be used as a hassock fan to draw cool air from the floor and circulate it throughout a room.

Function Description:

The fan operates via a speed control knob located on the rear grill, offering three speed settings: High ("3"), Medium ("2"), and Low ("1"). To turn the fan off, the knob is set to the "0" position. The fan head's angle can be adjusted using both hands to direct airflow to the desired position.

Important Technical Specifications:

Power: The appliance operates on a 120V AC electrical outlet.
Fuse: It incorporates a 2.5 Amp, 125 Volt replaceable fuse for overload protection. A blown fuse indicates an overload or short-circuit situation.
Plug Type: The fan features a polarized plug, with one blade wider than the other, designed to fit into a polarized outlet in only one way. This is a safety feature to reduce the risk of electric shock.
Intended Use: This product is intended for household use ONLY and is not suitable for commercial or industrial applications.
Safety Features:
- Overload protection (fuse) to prevent damage from electrical surges.
- Polarized plug to ensure correct electrical connection.
- Thermal protection for the motor, which automatically shuts off if it overheats.

Usage Features:

Adjustable Speed Settings: Three distinct speed settings (Low, Medium, High) allow users to control the intensity of airflow.
Tilt Adjustment: The fan head can be manually tilted to direct air circulation as needed.
Versatile Placement: Can be used on the floor as a hassock fan or positioned to circulate air throughout a room.
Ease of Assembly: The fan comes fully assembled and ready for immediate use.

Maintenance Features:

Fan Cleaning:
- Always unplug the fan before cleaning or disassembling.
- Do not allow water to drip on or enter the fan housing.
- Use a soft cloth moistened with a mild soap solution.
- Avoid using gasoline, thinner, or benzene as cleaners.
Fan Blade Cleaning:
- Unlock the clips around the perimeter of the front grill.
- Remove a screw at the bottom of the grill using a Phillips head screwdriver.
- Remove the front grill.
- Clean the fan blade, grill, housing, and base with a soft, damp cloth.
- It is explicitly stated NOT to attempt to remove the fan blade.
- Exercise caution around the motor housing area to prevent water exposure to electrical components.
- Replace the front grill onto the rear grill and secure it with the clips and screw.
Replaceable Fuse:
- If the 2.5 Amp, 125 Volt replaceable fuse blows, it can be replaced by the user.
- To replace the fuse:
  1. Unplug the fan.
  2. Open the fuse cover on top of the plug by sliding it down with a thumb or flathead screwdriver.
  3. Carefully remove the old fuse using a small screwdriver to pry it out by its metal ends.
  4. Insert a new 2.5 Amp, 125 Volt fuse into the compartment, securing its metal ends with a small screwdriver.
  5. Slide the fuse cover closed completely, ensuring it is secured in place.
- Caution: Only replace with a 2.5 Amp, 125 Volt fuse to avoid fire risk. Do not attempt to replace the attachment plug itself; if the plug is damaged, the product should be discarded.
Storage:
- When storing the fan during the off-season, it should be kept in a safe, dry location.
- It is recommended to use the original box for protection from dust.

Safety Instructions and Warnings:

Always read all instructions before use.
Do not immerse the unit, plug, or cord in water or spray with liquids.
Close supervision is necessary when used by or near children.
Unplug from the outlet when not in use, when moving, or before cleaning.
Avoid contact with moving parts.
Do not operate in the presence of explosive or flammable fumes.
Never place the cord under rugs or near open flames, cooking, or heating appliances.
Do not operate with a damaged cord or plug; discard or return to an authorized service facility.
Do not run the cord under carpeting or cover it with throw rugs; arrange it away from traffic areas.
Do not use attachments not recommended by the manufacturer.
Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table, counter, or come into contact with hot surfaces.
Do not use outdoors.
To disconnect, grip the plug and pull from the wall outlet; never yank on the cord.
Always use on a dry, level surface.
Do not operate until fully assembled.
Do not use in a window to reduce the risk of electrical shock and injury.
Do not use with any solid-state speed control device to reduce the risk of fire or electric shock.
If the replacement fuse blows, a short circuit may be present, and the product should be discarded or returned for service.

Warranty Information:

The product comes with a 10-year limited warranty from Sunbeam Products, Inc. (JCS) against defects in material and workmanship from the date of purchase. JCS will, at its option, repair or replace the product. This warranty is valid for the original retail purchaser and requires proof of purchase (sales receipt). The warranty does not cover normal wear of parts, negligent use, misuse, improper voltage, use contrary to instructions, disassembly, repair by unauthorized personnel, or acts of God (e.g., fire, flood, hurricanes, tornadoes). JCS is not liable for incidental or consequential damages. Implied warranties are limited to the duration of the express warranty.
