INTRODUCTION

FALL PROTECTION

Employer's responsibility for fall protection and training for workers at height.

TRAINING

Workers and employers must be trained in correct use, care, and maintenance of equipment.

INSPECTION

Equipment must be inspected before each use and annually by a competent person.

ASSEMBLY

Step 1: Stand the tripod

Stand the tripod upright on a flat and level surface.

Step 3: Extend the legs

Extend legs as required and insert locking pins similar to those in the head.

Step 5: Attach the mounting bracket

Attach mounting bracket for SRL to the upper portion of the tripod leg.

ASSEMBLY CONTINUED

Step 6: Attach the SRL

Attach the SRL-33303-50 to the bracket and lock it using the detent pin.

Step 7: Extend the cable

Extend SRL cable, pass snap hook through hole, fit into pulley groove, secure with pin.

Step 8: Ensure all locking pins

Ensure all locking pins are in place and secure, and the safety chain is tightened.

Step 9: Add a secondary pulley

Add a secondary pulley to a slotted hole for a winch.

Before Use

Pre-Use Inspection

Inspect tripod visually for corrosion, deterioration, pins, components, pulley, chain, holes, and signs of fall arrest.

Care and Storage

Store tripod in a clean, dry environment free of fumes or corrosive elements.

Maintenance

User maintenance is limited to inspection, cleaning, drying, and storage. Consult manufacturer for other needs.
