MANUPULATION OF THE RUDDER BLADE
How can you put the rudder blade in the water?
A) Remove the bungee cord to release the rudder blade before you put your kayak into the water.
B) Slide plastic tip 1 towards the front of the kayak to lower the rudder in the water, and hook it into the cleat.
How can you pull back the rudder blade?
C) Unhook plastic tip 1 from the cleat and slide plastic tip 2 towards the back of the kayak until the blade
is completely out of the water.
D) Put the bungee cord over the blade to hold it in place.
MANUPULATION DE LA LAME DE GOUVERNAIL
Comment pouvez mettre la lame de gouvernail à l’eau ?
A) Enlevez le cordage élastique pour libérer la lame de gouvernail avant de mettre votre kayak à l’eau.
B) Faites glisser l’embout 1 vers l’avant du kayak pour descendre le gouvernail dans l’eau et accrochez-le dans le taquet.
Comment pouvez-vous remonter la lame de gouvernail ?
C) Décrocher l’embout 1 du taquet et faites glisser l’embout 2 vers l’arrière du kayak jusqu’à ce que la lame
soit sortie complètement de l’eau.
D) Remettre le cordage élastique sur la lame pour la maintenir en place.

Tighten or loosen the backrest straps to the preferred position.
