  If your Pella Window Blind or Shade isn't moving, start by checking all connectors at the blind or shade cover and power unit to ensure they are firmly plugged in. Also, the blind or shade may be in pair mode; either wait 2 minutes for it to exit this mode, or press and hold the Up button on the remote until the blind or shade makes a quick up/down motion. If the remote light doesn't illuminate when buttons are pressed, replace the remote battery. Otherwise, try charging the blind or shade with the wall charger. Finally, if the temperature in the Hinged Glass Panel (HGP) has exceeded 140°F, the motor will function once it cools down.

If the problem continues after charging for 12 hours, you may need to purchase a replacement battery from your local Pella sales representative. Alternatively, if the light on the remote is blinking, the blind or shade is in program mode, which runs at a slower rate. Wait 2 minutes, and the blind or shade and remote will exit program mode.
