No brine draw.
Plugged injector and/or injector
screen.
Inspect and clean the injector and/
or injector screen assembly.
Insufficient water pressure.
Increase water pressure above
172 kPa minimum.
Obstructed drain line.
Remove the obstruction.
Brine line pulling air.
Ensure all brine line fittings are
tight.
Insufficient brine
draw.
Partially clogged injector and/or
injector screen.
Inspect and clean the injector and/
or injector screen assembly.
Restricted flow rate in brine line.
Check flow rate capabilities of the
safety float/air check assembly.
Insufficient water pressure.
Increase water pressure above
172 kPa minimum.
Excessive back pressure on injector
due to elevated drain line.
Reduce drain line elevation to
height of valve.
Partially restricted drain line.
Remove the restriction.
Insufficient refill
to brine tank.
Restricted flow rate in brine line.
Check flow rate capabilities of the
safety float/air check assembly.
Resin volume incorrectly set.
Program again the controller.
Excessive water in
brine tank.
Plugged drain line flow control.
Clean the drain line flow control.
Plugged injector and/or injector
screen.
Inspect and clean the injector and/
or injector screen assembly.
Incorrect refill controller.
Install the correct controller.
Insufficient water pressure.
Ensure that operating pressure is
above 172.4 kPa.
Leak to main
drain.
No flow control installed in drain line.
Install drain line flow control.
Insufficient water pressure.
Increase water pressure above
172 kPa minimum.
Plugged injector and/or injector
screen.
Inspect and clean the injector and/
or injector screen assembly.
Back pressure on pilot drain port.
Plumb pilot drain line to
atmospheric position (i.e brine
tank).
Loss of media to
drain.
No flow control installed in drain line.
Install drain line flow control.
Air or gasses in raw water.
Ensure that air or gasses are not
present in feed water.
Unit draws air through brine line.
Ensure that all brine line fittings
are tight and that the aircheck
closes.
Defective air check.
Clean or replace aircheck.
