8.5.7.6 Disassemble valve from tank
1. Remove the softener and valve covers, see Covers removal (softener and valve) [
→
Page62].
2. Using a Phillips screwdriver unscrew the screw (5) from the locking bar (4), so that the
locking bar (4) can be slid out of its position.
3. You can now lift the top of the valve body (1) from the tank adapter (3), so as to perform all
required maintenance operations with the upper valve body (1) part on a workbench.
Take care with the seals (2) on the valve body bosses.
4. Reverse above procedure steps to rebuild.
