8.5.7.7 Optical sensor replacement
1. Remove the softener and valve covers, see Covers removal (softener and valve) [

To remove the optical sensor, first disassemble the camshaft and motor. See Motor and
camshaft replacement [
→
Page71].
2. The optical sensor (1) is clipped on the front side of the top plate, gently press on the clips to
release the optical sensor (1) from its location.
3. Reverse above procedure steps to rebuild.
