  To address a Motor Stall / Cam Sense Error in your Pentair Water Filtration System, try unplugging the unit and plugging it back in to allow the control to attempt to find its position again. Check that the optical sensor is correctly placed and wired to the circuit board. Make sure the motor and drive train components are in good shape and properly assembled. Inspect the valve to ensure the piston moves freely. Replace or reassemble components as needed. If the error persists after plugging it back in, unplug the unit, put it into bypass.

  If your Pentair Water Filtration system displays a Regen Failure error, perform a manual regeneration to reset the error code. For metered systems, ensure it's measuring flow by running service water and checking the display's flow indicator. If no flow is measured, check the meter cable connection and meter functionality. In Master Programming Mode, verify the unit's configuration, valve configuration, system capacity, day override setting, and meter identification. For Day-of-Week systems, confirm at least one day is set to ON. Correct any settings as needed.

  If your Pentair Water Filtration System softener fails to use salt, begin by cleaning the drain line and/or flow control if they are plugged or restricted. Next, clean or replace the injector and screen if the injector is plugged. Check for any restrictions in the BLFC and ensure the safety float is not stuck if there is no water in the brine tank. Ensure the line pressure is at least 1.4 bar if the water pressure is too low. Check the brine line for air leaks if it injects air during brine draw.
