INSTALLATION
CHAPTER 4
EN
Installation must be carried out by expert, qualied personnel.
Use appropriate protective equipment in compliance with safety standards.
Health and safety regulations must strictly be observed.
This appliance is not designed to be used by anyone (children included) with reduced physical, sensorial or mental ability or
anyone without the necessary experience or knowledge unless under supervision or instruction by a responsible person.
This is for their own safety.
Ensure that children don’t play with this appliance.
Before installation ensure that the electricity supply to the pump is turned off, the pressure of the system is at zero and that
there is no risk of excessive leakage of water.
Our expansion vessels don’t come equipped with devices to prevent excess pressure.
These are the responsibility of the user.
Ensure that the point of connection to the system and the position of the tank are chosen based on the weight of the tank
when full of water and that this will not compromise the mechanical stability of either.
Refer to the electric pump instruction manual to correctly complete the installation of the pump and the tank. Ensure that
all conditions and restrictions are followed.

CAUTION
CAUTION
Check that tank’s precharge is approx. 0.2 bar less that the start-up pressure of the pump.
This value can be corrected using the air valve found on the side opposite the pipe connection.
4.1 MODELS WITH INTERCHANGEABLE MEMBRANE - VERTICAL
4.2 MODELS WITH INTERCHANGEABLE MEMBRANE - HORIZONTAL
• Vertically congured tanks with
membrane have been designed for the
installation on the system pipe through
a rigid connection by using metal
joints chosen according to the system
features.
• Horizontally congured tanks with
membrane have been designed for the
installation of an electric pump on the
upper bracket
• The tank must be xed on a stable
surface. Insert a layer of rubber (or
another similar anti-vibration material)
between the surface and support legs
to reduce vibration
• Check that tank’s precharge is approx.
0.2 bar less that the start-up pressure
of the pump. This value can be
corrected using the air valve found on
the side opposite the pipe connection.
• Ensure that the weight of the electric
pump means it can be installed on the
tank's bracket without causing too
much strain
• The electric pump must be xed rmly
to the bracket
• The tank is connected to the electric
pump with a exible tube covered
with metal mesh that must be chosen
based on the maximum pressure of
the system
• Check that the tank’s precharge is
approx. 0,2 bar less than the start-up
pressure of the pump. This value
can be corrected using the air valve
found on the side opposite the pipe
connection
