TROUBLESHOOTING
Always disconnect power to the pump at the circuit breaker and relieve pressure in the ltration system before servicing the pump. Failure
to do so could result in death or serious injury to serviceman, pool users or others due to electric shock. Do NOT attempt to adjust or
service without consulting your dealer or a qualied pool technician. Read the entire Installation and Maintenance Guide before attempting
to use, service, or adjust the pool ltering system or heater.
Troubleshooting Chart
PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE CORRECTIVE ACTION
Connection Issue -
Pump is Oine Alert
Pump is not receiving power
Ensure the pump is receiving power.
If the pump is receiving power, the ON/STOP button will
illuminate.
Home internet service is out or
inaccessible
Conrm that the home router is active and connected to
the internet.
Intermittent WiFi or network
connection
1. Restart the home router. This can clear up many
typical home networking issues.
2. Cycle power to the pump.
Disconnect power to the pump at the main breaker,
Wait for 1 minute and reconnect power.
3. Check the signal strength in WiFi Settings of the
Pentair Home App.
If the signal strength is insucient, refer to the Poor
WiFi Signal section of this troubleshooting chart.
Bluetooth
®
connectivity issues
1. Stand closer to the pump when operating via
Bluetooth
®
.
2. Restart the Pentair Home app.
3. Adjust the pump antenna.
4. Ensure smartphone permissions are given to the
pump.
