Memo
• The Exif information can be checked using the provided software
“Digital Camera Utility 5”. (w p.88)
• When [Embed Copyright Data] is set to on, a copyright symbol ()
appears on the status screen and LCD panel.
You can set the power frequency (50Hz, 60Hz) to that used in
the region. The camera controls the exposure and cuts down on
the screen flicker based on the selected power frequency.
You can set the camera to turn off automatically if unused for a
set period of time. Select from [1min.], [3min.], [5min.], [10min.],
[30min.] or [Off].
Memo
• The Auto Power Off function does not work during slideshow
playback, when connected to a computer with a USB cable, or
when transferring images using an Eye-Fi card.
A memory card with a built-in wireless LAN “Eye-Fi card” (Wi-Fi
transmission) or a “Flucard” compatible with this camera can be
used. By using these cards, images can be transferred from the
camera to a computer or other device via wireless LAN.
Sets the camera action for when an Eye-Fi card or a Flucard is used.
1 Select [Wireless Memory Card] in D3 menu and
press D.
The [Wireless Memory Card] screen appears.
2 Select [Action Mode].
Items that can be set are displayed
according to the type of card inserted.

J Switches between upper and lower case letters.
E Enters a character selected with the text selection
cursor at the position of the text input cursor.

AUTO
Transfers images automatically when there are any images
that have not yet been transferred.
For movies, only files under 2 GB can be transferred.
SELECT
Transfers images or a folder that are selected in [Eye-Fi
Image Transfer] of the playback mode palette.
Movies cannot be transferred.
OFF Stops the communication function.
ON Enables wireless data transfer with Flucard.
OFF Disables wireless data transfer with Flucard.
