Operating Distance of the Wireless Remote
Control from the camera’s front: within
approx. 5m (16.5ft) straight in front of the
camera
• The remote control may not work in a
backlight situation. In this case, use the
camera’s shutter release button in the Self-
Timer Mode to take pictures.
• The remote control does not work while
the flash is being charged.
Battery life on the Remote Control
About 30,000 commands can be issued using
the Remote Control with a battery installed.
If the battery is exhausted, please have it re¬
placed at your local Pentax Service center
(there is a charge for this service).
