When the battery is nearly exhausted, the bat-
tery symbol (0 ) appears on the LCD panel to
warn you. Replace the battery as soon as possi-
ble. When (0 ) starts blinking, no operations can
be performed.

MAIN SWITCH
To switch ON, set the main/drive switch to
the ON position.
When the power turns ON, the lens slightly
extends and the lens cover opens. The camera
is now ready to shoot.

unused

minutes,
the
lens
automatically
retracts
to
the
shortest
focal
length.
