COMPOSING AND FOCUSING
1 After zooming the lens, compose the
scene, and place the autofocus frame
on the subject. Release the shutter.

In low light situations and/or hard-to-auto-
focus subjects, a red light is automatically
projected to assist the autofocus system
when the shutter release button is
depressed halfway down.

2 Check the lamp indication:
When the subject is in focus, the green
lamp will light up.
* The green lamp blinks if the subject is
too close or if the subject is difficult to
autofocus.
• If the autofocus window is dirty, the auto¬
focus may not function properly.
