to
use
the
Quick-Shift Focus System
1.
Using
Autofocus
Set the focus mode switch to autofocus, then press the shutter
release button
halfway to
autofocus.
With the
K-x,
K-7,
K2oo,
KlOD,
•WD
or
K-m
I
K2ooo
cameras, you can
also
press the AF button
or AF/AE-L button to focus.
With the
K200D,
KlOOD
Super
,
K110D,
KlOOD
,
•i4tDL2,
•iMDS2,
•iMDL
or
-~Ds
cameras set as
explained
in "Focusing with the
OK
Button"
on
page 16, you can focus by
pressing the
OK
button.
2.
Hold
down
the
shutter release button
halfway
(or
hold
down the AF button
or
OK
button), then
turn
the focusing ring
to
finely
adjust
focus.
3. Finally,
press the shutter
release buHon
fully
to
take a picture.
The focusing ring on some
lenses
may rotate during autofocus.
Do
not touch the focusing ring while
autofocus is operating as it may cause a
malfunction.
