Use this camera to format (initialize) an

Memory Card that is unused
or has been used on other cameras or digital devices.
Formatting deletes all the data saved on the
SO
Memory Card.

• Do not remove the
SO
Memory Card while formatting. The card may
be
damaged and become unusable.
• Formatting deletes all data, both protected and unprotected. Be aware.
Select
[Format]
in
the

and
press
the
four-way
controller

The [Format] screen appears.

Formatting starts.
When formatting is completed, the screen that was displayed before
selecting the menu appears again.

formatted, the volume label assigned to the card

connected to a computer, the

Memory Card
is
