Playback/Erasing
Protecting Images from Deletion (Protect)
You can protect images from being accidentally erased.

Enter the Playback mode and choose the image you
want to protect with the four-way controller (
).
x
Press the button.
The Protect screen will be
displayed.
c
Select [Protect] with the four-way
controller (
).

Press the Playback/OK button.
• Select [Unprotect] in step
c
above to release the Protect
setting.
• If the image is protected, the symbol is displayed
when the image is played back.
Protecting All Images
You can protect all the images.
z
Enter the Playback mode.
x
Press the button twice.
The Protect all screen will be displayed.
c
Select [Protect All] with the four-way controller ().
v
Press the Playback/OK button.
• Even protected images will be erased by formatting the
CF card.
