Formatting will delete all the data on the SD Memory Card /
MultiMediaCard.
• DO not remove the SD Memory Card / MultiMediaCard while the card
is being formatted. The Card may be damaged and become Unusable:
, SD Memory Cards / MultiMedia Cards formatted on a PC or device
other than the camera cannot be Used:
Be sure to format the card with the camera.
• Formatting will delete protected data too.

Select [Format] on the [Xl Set-up] menu.
Press the four-way controller (•).
The Format screen will be displayed.
Select [Format] with the four-way controller (A).
Press the OK button.
Formatting will start. The camera is ready to capture or play back
images when formatting is completed.
