Taking Pictures
Set the recorded pixels and frame rate for movies.
The more pixels there are, the clearer the details and the bigger the file
size.
The more frames per second, the better the quality of the movie, but the
file size increases.
Select from [V(1280×720) 15fps*], [m(640×480) 30fps],
[m(640×480) 15fps], [D(320×240) 30fps], or [D(320×240) 15fps].
Recorded Pixels for Movies
* Playback requires a computer.
1 Press the 3 button in A mode.
The [A Rec.Mode] menu appears.
2 Use the four-way controller (23) to select [Movie].
3 Press the four-way controller (5).
The Movie screen appears.
Selecting the Recorded Pixels and Frame Rate
for Movies
(1280×720) : 15fps HD movies with a horizontal aspect ratio of 16:9 (*).
(640×480) : 30fps
For watching on a TV and other AV equipment.
For posting on websites or attaching to e-mails.
(640×480) : 15fps
(320×240) : 30fps
(320×240) : 15fps
