Wear approved clothing (gloves, goggles, apron) due to sulphuric acid in batteries.
Connect the quick-connect fitting and gun to the 1/2" (12.5 mm) water hose.
Activate the water source (main, cart, or deionizer).
Squeeze trigger to remove air and ensure uniform water flow.
Set shut-off level using an Allen wrench for cell filling.
Gun pre-set for most caps; adjust for flip-top types.
Ensure water source is active before filling.
Place nozzle into battery cell and squeeze trigger until auto shut-off.
Let go of the trigger when water flow stops.
Gently tap nozzle for drips, then detach gun from battery cell.
Ensure water source is closed after use.
