Cleaning and Disinfecting the Rack and Modules
To clean or disinfect your rack and modules, use only cleaning agents approved by
Philips. For complete cleaning instructions, see the Efficia Rack and Modules
Instructions for Use.
Shutting Down the Rack
Perform the following shutdown procedure whenever you need to power down the
rack for maintenance or repair.
Software Upgrades
Use the following procedure to upgrade the rack and modules software with a
functional Efficia CM Series monitor and a USB flash drive.
Before you place an upgraded rack or an upgraded module back into service, Philips
recommends that your facility establishes a protocol to train users about any changes
in the functionality of the system resulting from the software upgrade. Upgrades with
new features may require review to determine if there are new default settings that
need to change.
Registering for Software Upgrades from Philips InCenter
To register in the InCenter and download the upgrade files for the rack and the
modules, contact your service representative.
Upgrading the Software
Use the following procedure to upgrade the software.
Observe the following points when upgrading the software.

Disconnect the PoweredUSB cable from the rear case of the monitor.

If the monitor is in operational mode, press on the monitor to
dismiss the alarm for the rack disconnection.
