Gas Module Update Procedure
In order to update the Gas module firmware, the Efficia CM monitor used for the
update process needs to be running a special software version that allows the bridge
to be established between the PC and the Gas module (as explained before). The
Efficia CM release with this feature is C.01.01 or higher.
Before upgrading the firmware, the Gas module software needs to be updated to
version A.01.00 or higher. Version A.01.00 software is bundled with the C.01.01
software.
The Gas module firmware update process consists of downloading and upgrading the
firmware of all components:
• FlowPower
• ILCA3
• PIA (only available in Efficia Gas Module 863334)
The firmware update package consists of one image file (IMG) for each component
and one DLS file with configurations.
Warning
Both models of Efficia Gas Module (863334 and 863336) are eligible for this
firmware update, however each of the models has a specific DLS file. Using
the wrong DLS file will result in failure to complete the process successfully.
Step
1
Update the Efficia CM Series Monitor(s) to version C.01.01 or higher.

Update the Efficia GAS Module to version A.01.00 or higher.
