Philips F8 - Forcible update; OSD update

Forcible update
1. Copy the MAIN SW BIN image “update.zip” into USB stick (pen drive) root path
2 Plug USB stick to the TV
3. Switch OFF TV by AC
4. Switch ON TV by AC, at the same time press ”Power” for 10s, TV will update SW
automatically.
5. When updating is successful, TV should restart automatically after ~7min
6. Switch off TV by removing AC cord
7. Reconnect AC cord to restart TV
Note: Some USB disk can not detective, try the other one
OSD update
1. Switch on TV.
2. Copy the SW BIN image “update.zip” into USB stick (pen drive) root path
3. Change file name from update.zip to V8-NT563xx-LF1Vxxx.bin (the same as software
version)
4. Plug USB stick to the TV
5. Menu -->Support --> Software update -->By USB. TV will find Vxxx and please do
“update”
6. TV will update SW automatically, and show some notes on TV.
7. When reflashing is successful, TV should restart automatically after ~7min
8. Switch off TV by removing AC cord
9. Reconnect AC cord to restart TV
Note: Some USB disk can not detective, try the other one
