Note: The cuff should be fastened in such a way that
the blue mark on the cuff is positioned over the main
arteries in the upper arm.
When the correct blood pressure has been reached,
pressurisation is stopped and the measurement starts
(1). Remain seated in a relaxed way and do not move.
The pressure in the cuff will now be reduced. The
‘measurement in progress’ symbol will appear on the
display (2). The measurement is completed as soon as
the cuff is automatically depressurised.
Your systolic pressure, diastolic pressure and pulse will
now appear on the display.
Press the START button again to switch the appliance
off. If you forget to switch the appliance off, it will switch
off automatically after one minute.
Note: wait approx. 5 minutes before you repeat a
measurement.
Memory
The values measured last are stored in the memory
when the appliance is switched off.
The stored data appears on the display when the
memory button is pressed. An ‘M’ is displayed in the
bottom left-hand corner of the display.
The memory will be erased when you replace the
batteries.
