Charging Station LEDs
The AC Power / Error LED is
• cyan during startup or to indicate a general charging station error
• green when the charging station is connected to AC power
The nine Charger Slot LEDs show the battery status of the device in their
slot and are switched off if a battery is not inserted.
When a battery is put on a charging station slot, confirm that the
corresponding LED flashes yellow until the battery's current state has been
identified. Then a beep is issued, and the LED reflects the battery status as
described in the table below.

battery not properly recognized, error cyan
battery recognized, battery charging yellow
battery recognized, battery full (>90%) green
Note — Wiping of battery contacts with an alcohol solution after cleaning is
recommended.
Battery Status on the Charging Station Display
The IntelliVue CL Charging Station display provides a quick overview of
all the connected devices and their battery status. The screen is arranged in
the same layout as the charger slots.
Note — The display on the charging station is product revision dependent.
Newer revisions do not have a display.
