Temperature control system
for heating food quickly and keeping it warm.
- The baby bottle warmer makes use of a PTC heating element and two tem-
perature sensors (one is the PTC heating element itself and one checks the
water temperature in the beaker).
PTC heating element
- The baby bottle warmer makes use of the latest heating technology using
the PTC element.That’s why it is possible to make a perfect double-insulated
product for maximum safety.
Power consumption of the heating element
(90 Watts at home and 80 Watts in the car)
- A 90 Watt PTC heating element is used for several reasons.The heating ele-
ment itself will consume all the power, so there is no power wasted. 90 Watts
is the ideal power for heating up the water (and therefore the milk in the
bottle) because the heating process is not too fast and not too slow. If the
heating process is too fast the milk becomes warm faster, but the heating
element retains its heat for a longer period.This means that the milk can
become too hot when the bottle is not taken out of the beaker at the
moment the thermostat switches off, and the hot milk could burn your
baby’s mouth!!!

- A special control knob is designed for ease of use.With this 17-position knob
you can set the temperature every time at the required level.The advantage
of using this type of control is that you know from experience what the right
setting should be. Other people (father, mother, grandmother, grandfather,
etc) can also use this setting.

types, etc.)
Overheat protection prevents food from getting too hot
- A special protection (in addition to the two thermostats) is built in to ensure
that your child will never burn its mouth because the food is too hot.
Handles for easy lifting of bottles and jars
- A lifter can be used for “short” bottles and jars.Therefore the lifter has two
stop positions; one at the top and one just above the middle.The ‘top’ posi-
tion can be used to easily take the bottles and jars out of the beaker.The
’middle’ position is necessary so that the food in the jar can be stirred while
the water is still warming up the jar. In this way you can use one hand to
hold the jar and the other to stir easily.
Easy to carry around with special hand-grips
- These special hand-grips let you easily pour the water out of the baby bottle
warmer into the sink after use.
Double insulation
- The baby bottle warmer is designed so that the mains plug doesn’t require
an earth connection. In most houses an earth connection is only available in
the kitchen.You can use the Philips baby bottle warmer anywhere in the
house, including the parent’s bedroom.
Rubber feet
- The baby bottle warmer has special rubber feet at the base.These feet pro-
vide the essential stability the baby bottle warmer requires no matter where
