FAQs
How can I recycle my Philips Sonicare
Toothbrush?
There are two ways to recycle your Philips Sonicare Toothbrush in the United Kingdom.
Kerbside collection
Your local authority may collect small electrical items, including your Philips Sonicare Toothbrush. Visit
your local council's website to see if they collect small electrical items. This is usually found under 'What
Can I Recycle'. If they do, follow the guidance provided to get your Philips Sonicare Toothbrush collected
and recycled.
Recycling centre
Another way to recycle your Philips Sonicare Toothbrush is to take it along to your local recycling centre
How does the pressure sensor feedback
work on my Sonicare?
Your Sonicare toothbrush measures the pressure you apply while brushing to protect your gums and
teeth. If you apply too much pressure, the handle will change its vibration. The feedback light at the
toothbrush base will flash purple or the brush head reminder light will blink until you reduce the
pressure.
Resetting the pressure sensor settings
If you are unsatisfied with the pressure sensor settings, it is possible to re-calibrate them. To do so,
follow the steps below:
Ensure that the charger is plugged into an outlet. Remove and place the handle on the charger for at
least 45 seconds.
Remove your handle from the charger. Repeat this step four additional times.
