7.5 Sending e-mails securely
You can use the SMTPS method (e-mailing via SMTP with SSL/TLS) for secure e-mailing.
In order to use the SMTPS method, you need to import the latest version of the "IT_Library"
function block library. It can be downloaded via the product page at
phoenixcontact.net/products.
For more detailed information about the function block library, please refer to the online help
for PC Worx.
The function is available for the AXC 1050 (XC) with a firmware version ≥ 3.00 from
AUTOMATIONWORX Software Suite 2017 Version 1.84 and later.
Security certificates from the mail server are always accepted by the controller without be-
ing verified.
