Das Phonito Nano ist ein einzigartiges hoch-
modernes induktives Kommunikationssystem,
das speziell für verdeckte Kommunikation
entwickelt wurde. Dank der fortschrittlichen
Technologie von Phonak bietet das Phonito
Nano bei äusserst geringen Abmessungen bisher
unerreichten Hörkomfort. Im Set enthalten sind :

Wichtige Hinweise für den Benutzer
Der Phonito Nano-Ohrhörer wird am besten mit 
einer induktiven Hör-Sprechgarnitur von Phonak
verwendet, um optimale Leistung zu erzielen.
Das Phonito Nano muss wie in dieser 
Anleitung beschrieben verwendet, gereinigt
und gepflegt werden. Werden diese Empfeh-
lungen nicht beachtet, kann dies die Leistung
des Produktes beeinträchtigen.
Um eine vollständige und effektive Kommuni- 
kation sicherzustellen, muss der Ohrhörer
korrekt im Ohr sitzen.
Wenn Sie das Gerät gerade nicht verwenden, 
bewahren Sie es in der mitgelieferten
Verpackung an einem kühlen und trockenen
Ort auf (nicht über 60°C).
Entsorgen Sie defekte Geräte ordnungsgemäss 
oder senden Sie diese zur Reparatur an den
Hersteller zurück.
Gebrauchsanweisung
Einsetzen der Batterie in das Phonito Nano
Das Phonito Nano benötigt eine A10 Zink-Luft- 
Batterie. Wird eine falsche Batterie verwendet,
führt dies möglicherweise zu Schäden am
Ohrhörer und zum Erlöschen der Garantie. Wir
empfehlen die Verwendung von Phonak-
les performances optimales.
Phonito Nano doit être utilisé, nettoyé et 
entretenu conformément à ce mode d’emploi.
Le non respect de cet avis risque d’altérer
les performances de ce produit.
Pour assurer une communication intégrale 
et efficace, l’oreillette doit être correctement
placée dans l’oreille.
Quand il n’est pas utilisé, rangez le système 
dans le coffret fourni, placé dans un endroit
frais et sec (pas plus de 60°C).
Jetez les appareils défectueux en respectant 
les règles environnementales ou renvoyez-les
au fabricant pour réparation.

Product Overview
The Phonito Nano is a unique, state of the art
inductive communication system developed
specifically for covert communication. Thanks
to the advanced technology of Phonak the
Phonito Nano offers the kind of miniature size
and listening comfort never before achieved.
The set consists of :
Phonito Nano earpiece   A10 batteries
Cerumen filters   Cotton swabs
Important User Information
The Phonito Nano earpiece is best used with 
Phonak inductive wirings to guaranty optimal
performance.
Phonito Nano must be used, cleaned, and 
cared for according to this manual. By not
following this advice, you may compromise
this product’s performance.
To ensure complete and effective communica- 
tion, the earpiece must be fitted correctly into
the ear.
When not in use, store the system in the box 
supplied in a cool dry place (not above 60° C).
Dispose of defective systems properly or send 
back to the manufacturer for repair.
Instructions for Use
Inserting the battery into the Phonito Nano
Phonito Nano requires 1 x A10 Zinc Air battery.
Failure to use the correct battery may cause
damage to the earpiece and will void the war-
ranty. We recommend to use Phonak batteries
to guaranty the best performance.

Batterien, um bestmögliche Leistung zu erzielen.
Öffnen Sie das Batteriefach, indem Sie auf den 
erhöhten Teil der Batterieabdeckung drücken 1 .
Ziehen Sie die Schutzfolie von der Batterie ab. 
Setzen Sie die Batterie mit dem (+)-Zeichen 
bzw. dem Loch nach innen weisend in das
Batteriefach ein 2 .
Schliessen Sie das Batteriefach  3 .
Hierdurch wird der Ohrhörer eingeschaltet. 
Ihr Phonito Nano ist nun betriebsbereit.
Einsetzen des Phonito Nano ins Ohr
Entscheiden Sie zunächst, in welchem Ohr Sie Ihr 
Phonito Nano tragen möchten. Halten Sie ihn
nun so zwischen Daumen und Zeigefinger, dass
der grüne Schmutzfilter nach oben weist

Führen Sie den Ohrhörer vorsichtig in den 
Ohrkanal ein
6 . Achten Sie darauf, dass der
Ohrhörer so weit wie möglich im Ohrkanal und
in einer möglichst optimalen und komfortablen
Position sitzt. Abhängig von der Form Ihres
Ohrkanals müssen Sie den Ohrhörer mögli-
cherweise vorsichtig drehen, um ihn in die
beste Position zu bringen

Um den Ohrhörer auszuschalten, öffnen Sie 
das Batteriefach ein wenig, indem Sie auf
den erhöhten Teil der Batterieabdeckung
drücken

Wenn der Ohrhörer nicht regelmässig 
benutzt wird, sollten Sie die Batterie vor der
Aufbewahrung des Ohrhörers herausnehmen.
Betrieb des Phonito Nano
(mit induktiver Hör-Sprechgarnitur)
Schliessen Sie die Phonak-Hör-Sprechgarnitur 
an Ihr tragbares Funkgerät an. Legen Sie sich
die Induktionsschleife um den Hals und
nehmen Sie entweder die drahtgebundene
oder die drahtlose PTT-Taste (siehe dazu die
entsprechende PTT Gebrauchsanleitung) in
Open the battery compartment  by pressing
the raised portion of the battery door 1 .
Remove the sticker from the battery. 
With the (+) symbol or hole facing inside, insert 
the battery into the battery holder 2 .
Close the battery holder  3 .
This process switches the earpiece ON. 
Your Phonito Nano is now ready to use.
Inserting Phonito Nano in the ear
After deciding which ear to wear your Phonito 
Nano in, hold the receiver between thumb and
forefinger so that the green cerumen filter
(waxfilter) points upwards 5 .
Carefully guide the earpiece into your ear 
canal 6 . Ensure that the earpiece sits
as far as possible inside the ear canal as well
as in the best and still comfortable position.
Depending on the shape of your ear canal,
you may need to gently twist the earpiece
into place to ensure the best position 7 .
To switch the earpiece OFF, open the battery 
compartment slightly by pressing the raised
portion of the battery door 4 .
If the earpiece is not used regularly, remove 
its battery prior to storage.
Operating the Phonito Nano system
(inc. inductive wiring)
Connect the Phonak inductive wiring to your 
mobile radio. Wrap the induction loop
around your neck and place either a wired
PTT or the wireless PTT (see wireless PTT User
Manual) in your hand. Turn on your radio.
The Phonito Nano earpiece and the inductive
wiring will now be fully operational.

Faites soigneusement pénétrer l’appareil 

profondément que possible dans votre
conduit auditif, dans une position optimale
et confortable. Selon la forme de votre
conduit auditif, vous pouvez avoir besoin de
faire pivoter légèrement l’appareil en place
pour assurer sa meilleure position 7 .
Pour arrêter l’appareil, ouvrez légèrement le 
compartiment de pile en pressant sur la partie
bombée du couvercle de pile 4 .
Si vous n’utilisez pas régulièrement votre 
appareil intra-auriculaire, retirez la pile avant
de le ranger.
Utilisation du système Phonito Nano
(avec la boucle inductive)
type A10. L’utilisation d’une pile incorrecte risque
d’endommager l’appareil et annulera la validité
de la garantie. Pour garantir les meilleures
performances, nous recommandons d’utiliser
des piles Phonak.
Ouvrez le compartiment de pileen pressant sur 
la partie bombée du couvercle de pile 1 .
Retirez l’autocollant de la pile. 
Insérez la pile en orientant son symbole (+) ou 
le petit trou vers l’intérieur du compartiment
de pile 2 .
Fermez le compartiment de pile  3 .
Ce processus met l’appareil en marche. 
Votre Phonito Nano est maintenant prêt à l’emploi.
Insertion de Phonito Nano dans l’oreille
Après avoir choisi dans quelle oreille vous 
souhaitez porter votre Phonito Nano, saisissez-
le entre le pouce et l’index en dirigeant le filtre
