3.5 Before the first wash cycle
To remove potential residues caused by production, testing or transportation of the
appliance, a quick programme without laundry should be started before the first
regular wash cycle.
1. Open the tap.
2. Close the door.
3. Add some washing detergent (approx. 10 g) into the main chamber of the
detergent dispenser.
4. Press the ON / OFF - BUTTON (1).
5. Select the programme . -QUICK- (SCHNELL).
6. Press the START / STOP - BUTTON (2) to start the washing programme (s. chapter
3.6 PROGRAMMING AND STARTING OF A WASHING PROGRAMME).
3.6 Programming and starting of a washing programme
1. Load the drum.
2. Fill the detergent(s) into the relevant sections of the dispenser according to the
desired programme.
3. Open the tap.
4. Press the ON / OFF - BUTTON (1).
5. Set the desired programme using the ROTARY KNOB (8).
6. The DISPLAY (C) indicates the duration of the programme (hours : minutes)

7. Additionally to the selected programme, further washing functions such as
temperature, spin speed, delay, etc. can be selected by pressing the
corresponding buttons (s. chapter 3.6.1 SELECTING OF THE ADDITIONAL
FUNCTIONS)
8. Press the START / PAUSE - BUTTON (2) to start the washing programme.
9. The door lock will be activated automatically.
