5. Operation
5.1 Before the first use
To remove potential residues in the drum of the appliance caused by production,
testing or transportation of the appliance, a complete wash cycle without
laundry (quick washing programme) should always be started before the
first regular wash cycle.
1. Open the water tap.
2. Close the door.
3. Switch on the appliance using the « ON / OFF » - BUTTON. Set a quick washing
programme (e. g. « QUICK 15` ») using the rotary knob. The appliance is now
switched on and in STANDBY MODE. Set a quick washing programme (e. g.
« QUICK WASH ») using the « PROGRAMME » - BUTTON.
4. Press the « START / PAUSE » - BUTTON to start the washing programme.
5. The door lock will be activated automatically. The operational status indicator
of the door lock « » goes on.
6. When the washing programme is finished, the display indicates « END » and an
acoustic signal sounds.
7. The door lock is deactivated automatically after approx. 2 minutes. The
operational status indicator of the door lock « » goes off.
8. Switch off the appliance using the « ON / OFF » - BUTTON (see also chapter 5.5
END OF A WASHING / DRYING PROGRAMME).
9. Close the water tap.
5.2 Setting and starting of a programme
NOTICE! Do not overload the appliance. Always observe the maximum
load for the individual programmes (see chapter 4. THE WASHING
PROGRAMMES).
It is also possible that the current running time of the set washing programme is
adjusted automatically (depending on the washing situation, load, washing
temperature, additionally selected functions, etc.) so that it may vary from the
specified programme duration.
