Introduction
Withthepurchaseofthissolidwoodsandboxyouhaveacquiredahighqualityproduct.
Priortotheassembly,werecommendthatyoureadtheinstructionscarefullytoensurea
troublefreeconstruction.Pleasekeeptheseinstructions.
Beforeyoubegintheassembly,pleasecheckthecompletenessofallpartssupplied.Inthe
eventthattheenclosedscrewsorothercomponentsarenotsuppliedinthecomplete
amount,wekindlyaskyoutocontactthecustomerservicedepartment.
Duringtheassemblymakesurethatallpartsareinitiallylooselyconnectedtoeachother
andonlytightentheirconnectionswhentheassemblyiscompleted.

Itisrecommendedtoperformtheinstallationoftheroofcoverwith2people.Around
140kgofsandisrequiredtoreachthefillinglevelof12cm.
Maintenanceinstructions
Duringtheuseoftheproductthescrewsshouldbetightenedfromtimetotimeinorderto
ensurethateverythingisfixedfirmlyandnothingisloose.Thesandboxismadeofsolid
wood.Withanaturalproductlikewood,irregularitiesincolourandtextureareatypical
characteristicanddonotcountasadefect.
Dryingcrackscandevelopthroughprolongedheatperiods,whichwillmostlydegenerate
backagainwhenthetemperaturesfall.Thewoodoftheseatingarrangementistreated
withanenvironmentallyfriendlywaterbasedsalivaandsweatproofcoating,andis
thereforeonlysemiweatherproof.Topreventweatheringandmildewformationitis
recommendedtotreatthewoodwithanappropriatewoodstain,andtorepeattheprocess
annually.
Safetyinstructions
• Donotsetupoverconcrete,asphaltorotherhardsurfaces.
• Setuponalevelsurfacewithaclearanceofatleast2mfromotherstructuresor
obstaclessuchasfences,garages,houses,overhangingbranches,washinglines,
electricwiresetc.
• Ifthesandboxisassembledbyadults,theyshouldimmediatelydisposeoftheentire
originalpackaging,sincethefoilpackagingposesahazardforchildren(dangerof
suffocation!).
• Theassemblyofthesandboxshouldbeperformedwithoutthepresenceofchildren,
sincethesuppliedscrewsetc.couldbelifethreateningifswallowed.
• Teachthechildrenhowtoproperlyusethesandboxandneverleaveitunattendedwhile
theyareplaying.
• Checkthewoodenpartsofthesandboxfromtimetotimeforwornorbrokenplacesand
smooththemagainwithsandpaper.
• Performtheassemblyofthesandboxonalevelaspossiblebasesurfacewithina
spaciousenvironment.
