After all settings are complete, press 11. repeatedly until
the “Burn Files?” message appears on the screen.
Do one of the following:12.
Press
• to continue with the disc burning.
Press
• to select more files or adjust the files selection.
Press
• to abort the current operation.
Formatting Storage Media
You can use the drive to format the memory card or the USB device. With Format feature, you
can erase all data stored in the memory card or the USB device. It is recommended to format the
USB device before you start copying data into it.
Format Memory Card
With this feature, you can use the drive to format the memory card.
Connect the AC/DC adapter and turn on the drive.1.
Press the 2. Eject button to eject the tray and then place the disc on the tray.
Close the disc tray. 3.
Insert a memory card into the memory card slot.4.
Press 5.
repeatedly to select “3. Tools” and press to enter the Tools menu.
Select “6. 1. Format SD” and press
to confirm the selection.
A “7. Format SD. Press
to Start” message appears on the LCD display. Presss to start
formatting the memory card.
When the formatting process is complete, the drive automatically ejects and a “8. Completed”
message appears on the LCD display.
Format USB Device
With this feature, you can use the drive to format the USB device.
Connect the AC/DC adapter and turn on the drive.1.
Press the 2. Eject button to eject the tray and then place the disc on the tray.
Close the disc tray. 3.
Plug in a USB drive to the USB port of the drive.4.
Press 5.
repeatedly to select “3. Tools” and press to enter the Tools menu.
Press 6.
repeatedly to select “2. Format USB” and press to confirm the selection.
