For EV Owners & Users
What you need to know
The POD Point is the next generation in electric vehicle
charging.
POD Points can charge two vehicles simultaneously and
use standard 3-pin plug points – meaning all electric cars
and bikes can use them.
How to use POD Points
Anyone can use POD Point. There are no ddly buttons
or complex user interface - just simple icon-based
instructions and an easy to read display.
Charging time can vary from car to car, but generally an
hours charge from a POD Point should be enough for
about 10 miles.
Before you start charging:
• To start charging you will need your charging cable
and RFID charging card (see below).
• If you do not have either of these please contact
POD Point to join the POD Point Charging Network
and we will be able to provide you with a high-spec
yellow charging cable and electric vehicle charging
card.
• Some POD Points may have restrictions on
charging and parking times - please check on
nearby signage before starting your charge.
• Please adhere to the safety points overleaf.
