Main Power Connector
8. Disconnect the main NEGATIVE cable from
the traction batteries. Isolate the cable end to
ensure the circuit cannot be completed during
service.
Reconnecting Power
1. Reconnect the negative cable to the traction
batteries. Torque the nut to 8 lb-ft (10.8 Nm).
2. Reconnect the negative cable to the auxiliary
12-volt battery (if equipped). Torque the screw
to 5.5 lb-ft (7.5 Nm).
3. Reconnect electrical accessory connectors (if
equipped).
4. Reconnect the main power connector.
5. Reinstall the hood.
