6. Turn the ignition key past the
POSITION LIGHTS position to
engage the starter. Engage the
starter for only 2-3 seconds.
7. Tighten the carburetor drain screw.
8. Dry the spark plug.
Reinstall the plug or
install a new plug.
9. Torque to specification.
10. Turn the fuel valve on.
11. Attempt to start the engine. If
necessary, repeat the drying
procedure.
12. Have the vehicle serviced by
your dealer promptly, whether
you succeed in starting it or not.
NOTE: If water has been ingested into the PVT, follow the procedure on page
88 for drying out the PVT.
